The Hochschule Weserbergland (HSW) is a nationally recognized and accredited private University of Applied Sciences in the ownership of an association. It is located in Hamelin, Lower Saxony, where it provides dual bachelor's degree courses in the fields of business administration, economics, computer science, and industrial engineering. It also offers part-time bachelor's degree programmes in business administration and industrial engineering, and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in general management

In close cooperation with partner companies and supporting members, HSW also develops and implements further education programs for professionals and executives as well as research and development projects. In addition to an Institute for Personnel Development and Lifelong Learning, there is an Institute for Knowledge Management as well as an Institute for Efficient Energy Systems that facilitate a valuable transfer between science and industry.
